How we create the gold lotus ring
A luxurious figure of a ring sculpture, gilded with 23-carat Italian gold, depicting a lotus flower and adorned with a beautiful, rare striped flint gemstone. This piece was inspired by the lotus flower, which holds deep symbolic meaning in many cultures.
We love creating handmade works of art, crafting them with love for people who appreciate art, beauty, and the highest quality.
When we create this beautiful, rare, luxurious, gilded ring sculpture representing the lotus flower, photos and descriptions can only briefly showcase our handmade process. In reality, it’s a time-consuming and creative process, sometimes taking several months to create something truly unique.
Here you can see in all its glory the luxury lotus flower ring sculpture authored Kostylo atelier.
The 3mm-thick brass sheet details of the lotus flower ring are hand-cut and grinded to achieve the desired shape.

Then, all parts of the lotus flower sculpture are meticulously fitted together, maintaining the right proportions.

Excess silver solder is then ground away, and the ring is shaped by hand, using increasingly fine files and finer sandpapers, to create a smooth form.

Once meticulously polished, the lotus flower ring sculpture is ready for copper-plating to cover any micro-holes and even out the surface before it’s gilded with Italian gold.

In the meantime, we shape the band from a cut brass sheet with a thickness of 3 mm by heating it at a high temperature and bending it into a ring.

To the silver-soldered crown of the ring, after it has been manually smoothed with sandpaper, we silver-solder the lower part of the ring, called the band or shank.

Another copper-plating of the ring is done to cover any micro-holes and achieve a uniform gilding across the entire surface of the ring sculpture

After copper-plating, the lotus ring is polished to a high gloss to prepare it for gilding with 23-carat bright gold.

The copper-plated ring sculpture, polished to a high gloss, is presented in this way. These prongs in the form of threaded rods, temporarily soldered with tin, serve a special function; they suspend the ring sculpture in copper and jeweler’s baths for gilding, ensuring the ring does not come into contact with other unnecessary items, resulting in perfect gilding.

The final result is our realized vision of a luxurious, gold-plated lotus flower ring sculpture with a rare striped flint gemstone, presented in a luxurious, dark green branded box, crafted with heart and love for people and the world.
